Since moving to Luxembourg I have discovered Guinness Special Export. A guinness made in dublin specially for the belgian market and not even sold in ireland (except in redmonds, who re-imports it and sells it for 4 euro a bottle). In 1920 The belgians asked guinness to make them an all-malt stronger (8%) version of their stout. Has anyone had a chance to drink this? Its really the best thing Guinness make.

Have seen this in a few places including my local Superquinn in Lucan. From memory think it was only €2.75 a bottle!

I don't think Special Export is worth the extra money that you have to pay here.
