Had my 1st bottle out a me brick this evening.

I have to say I did really enjoy the beer.
I was worried it would be overhyped, but no, very nice, complex/subtle beer.
I've a mixed relationship with Belgian beers and love some, not so fond of others.
Now to start working on a tribute recipe

I'm on the wagon for Lent so I think a Trappist beer could be a suitable way to celebrate Easter Sunday (and Easter Sunday 2013 & 2014?)

I've had one, it was very good but I wasn't blown away. I have a feeling I'll enjoy the next one more though. They're still available from drinkstore if anyone is looking for some.

A buddy of mine picked up a case last week here in waterford in that world wide wines I have two waiting for me - worked out at 9 quid a bottle - guess I might have it on paddys day !

Kinda wondering should I wait for a special occasion
Or is having it an occasion in itself ? what better way to celebrate or national day than with a foreign imported beer !!!

i've had two of them
and I did think it was fabulous,
so complex but smooth

i loved the mouthfeel off it as well and feel the carbonation is perfect, having drank a couple of chimay blue since
they seem too fizzy for the style now that ive had the W12,

i'm looking to do something in that style,
theres a bunch of recipes on the web but i'm a newb
so id be intersted in what you reckon is a good one to try
