As I intend drink this beer sloooowly over the years what would be the best temperature to store at. I want gentle maturation I assume

So I have three options

Constant Warm: at about 20C in the house

Constant Cool: under the stairs type temps more like 15C

Variable; Garage or Shed Cold in winter Min 11C Warm in summer Max about 25C

Expensive answer: dedicated beer fridge ( like a wine fridge ) set to whatever we think is optimum

Cheers

Beers need to be kept at a constant temperature so I would say under the stairs. A beer fridge would be good but can't be too cold and most beers need to kept at around 12C.
Please note also that these beers shouldn't be chilled before drinking but they need to be at a cool room temperature.

Actually, at home we would have a cellar for our beers.
Dug into the sandstone ground it is a constant 11 degrees.
Any cave or cellar would be best to keep them.
If you have one that is <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
