Next month they'll be selling proper size glasses for roofing slates.

I reserved two bricks in drinkstore on Valentine's night when I was getting the Frau Dr. her pressie (yes, I got my missus a bottle of beer for V. day - that's how I roll ).

The plan was to put one brick aside and forget it about for years (if not decades), and open the other up: have 1 bottle now and another every 6 months over the next couple of years. When I picked them up from Saturday, I was told the feedback is that they're still a bit young and could do with another 6 months to begin with.

So pop one open now, or wait??? Has anybody sampled any of theirs yet?

(In other news, drinkstore = nirvana. Went out of my way to get there, but well worth it. I'll be back!)

I'd wait a bit!

The gf got a 6 pack and we had 1 bottle each after picking it up. Mine was delicious but her bottle was green.

So we each had half the good bottle and half the green bottle and there was a big enough difference. We'll be holding onto the 4 remaining bottles for a good while to let them age.

It's really bloody good stuff. Even the green bottle was delicious. Beginning to see what all the fuss is about!

Cheers Mick!

Will wait it out for another 6 months and see what all the fuss is about then!
