O Shea's Traditional Irish Ale & Stout 15 years 5 months ago #1

Was in my local Aldi(Limerick) tonight & picked up some O Shea's Traditional Irish Ale & Stout. Doesn't say who brews them but so far have had the Ale & its quite tasty, not unlike O Hara's ale. Says on the bottles brewed in Ireland. Oh yea- 1.99 for each pint bottle !

Any resemblance to the old Aldi's Traditional Red?

I asked in Aldi the other day about the O'haras ale and some very disinterested lad said they wouldn't be getting it back as far as he knew. <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->

I reckon the Carlow brewing company is brewing them, the stout has a hoppyness very simular to O Hara's but at 4.5% abv. Anyway they were worth a punt.

I saw them this morning and thought they might be the O Haras as well.
