Shepard and Neame Rudolph's Reward in Lidl for 1.49. Also Lidl in Ballincollig still have plenty Autumn Blaze and Tapping the Admiral left.

Of those shepard neame lidl beers i think the autmn blaze is ok. I goot a couple of the rudolphs reward last week and there is something christmasy about it alright. I mean beyond the picture of the reindeer on the front. Tastes piney or something.

Autumn Blaze was the least worst, I thought. I like the Christmas Ale and bought a load last year so will give the new one a go. Thanks for the heads-up.

I had all three this week. The Autumn Blaze and Rudolphs Reward were OK, but Tapping the Admiral is up there with some of the worst beer i have ever tasted. Dreadful stuff - I wondered if any malt or hops was used at all in this stuff <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt=":x" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x --> .

brutal...the rudolf reward is ok...especially for 1.49 but i wouldnt pay any more for it..
