I think spontaneous fermentation is so common for cider that they don't need a separate word for it.

Bearing in mind
1) This will end up as dear as / dearer than normal (IE macro) beer,
2) You can make kits (some of them pretty good!) for less
3) Every beer kit you send that catches an infection (caused by user ineptitude) will lead to terrible reviews for your product.

Id still reckon the Oz model makes more sense (my 2c worth)

If it was sold in some sort of a custom polypin that had a capsule that you turn to break a seal which drops yeast into the wort so it's not being contacted by the air and then another one similar to the lidl 5 litre kegs which you turn to somehow snap an airlock into place, to keep the system a closed system until decanting......just bouncing ideas....

Worst was I didn't notice it until the kids started falling over...
