WHAAAAAAAAA? They have a Darcy's beer out again? They really know how to market things. Tell us more? Anyone else spot it round town?

The Dice Bar.

The barman said that Revolution is renamed Bombardier which, tasting it again, is totally possible.

He also said that D'Arcy's is from "some brewer up north" but for such a chocolaty stout, I can't think who that might be. I'd be more inclined to agree with delzep if anything.

They also had four other DBC badges: Wicked Cider, Celis White, Augustijn Blonde, and Sparta Pils.

The Dice Bar's website linked here[/url:350t9k95], which has quite a bit more information. And yes, it does conflict in places with what I wrote above. I'm just telling it how it happened.

And everything you read on websites has to be true, by law.

Some good detective work there, KeeganAles.

Nope, Molly's is much thinner. D'Arcy's, I think, is closer to PH Truffle. More likely the bartender was mistaken about it being from up north.

Thanks, TBN!

had a couple of pints of D'Arcy's today in Sin É....was told that it was their regular stout (i.e D'Arcy's), not the chocolate stout...barman hadn't a clue when I asked for more info. Definately wasn't the chocolate stout they had sold before. Was bloody delicious what they gave me though. I can't remember what the original D'Arcy's stout was like from years ago unfortunatley so maybe somebody else can confirm if this is it??
