Had 3 beers from the DBC last night in Sine. The stout is not the old stout...although I really don't think it's young's either. I actually don't like youngs at all. This stout was ok. Initially interestingly nice but then it was a little bland. I also had revoution red ale. This was very nice. I was on nitro but still had a really lovely hoppy flavour. I then had Augustine which is a belgian ale at about 6ish percent. Nice I have to say. Noone knew where they were from. Still though at 4 bills they were nice enough for the most part.

Popped into Sin E out of curiosity on Thursday. Thought the stout wawn't bad but not like Young's chocolate IMHO, Was on a mini bee=er mission following a work meeting, Had a Julol first in MM which was very tasty and finished off with a Wrasslers and Alt in PH, Then a quick walk to Heuston for train home with 4 M&S bottles in my bag!!

Was in Sin E a couple of weeks ago and tried all 3. Thought the stout was quite nice but the aul lad at the bar trying a sample was hilarious. He couldn't over the fact that he was drinking a stout that tasted like chocolate. He was like Rob Brydon in Gavin & Stacey, or Peter Kay talking about his dad trying garlic bread. "Gaaarlic bread??!?" "Chocolate Stout?!?!?"

Didn't like the Red, balance wasn't there for me. Over-riding sweetness like eating one of those big red candy soothers you used to get in Mosney.

Absolutely loved the Wheatbeer. Great flavours, and had that kinda raw tartness that you get from wheat beers. Reminded me of a Sam Adams Seasonal that I got in a bar in New York last year. I'll definitely be back for that one.

The Augustijn abbey blonde is pretty good too.

There's a fifth too: Sparta pils. Very bitter.

It's all on the website[/url:2zl8jq1x], FYI.
