I think it's nicer than the Julol I've tasted in Norway, it's got more of a hop and spice presence that than the others I've tried. This year's may be different, I'm thinking of the 2 or 3 year old incarnation.
Tried this yesterday after reading about it here. Is it just me that tastes something off about the beers in Messers? I've had their julol and their bock and both times there was the same unpleasant iron or copper taste that dominated the palate.
I really tried searching for what everyone seems like about the julol but couldnt see it. But maybe it is just me.
