Im in Killarney at the moment. Found Courtney's.
Kenmare on draught, asked what type of beer it is and got the dreaded answer "don't know". And i don't know myself. But they do have about 30 premium beers in bottle, and some good music. And lots of lovely Murphys.

I had a couple of pints of Kenmare on tap last weekend in D O'Shea's Sneem Co. Kerry. I confess I didn't think a lot of it; probably trying to compete with the macrobrews in the Larger league. I might as well have been drinking Heineken (but didn't!).

Salthill is my home and I'll be back there next weekend. Will definitely drop in and check it out.

One of the other places to find a decent selection of beers in Galway is the Bierhaus on Dominic street. Similar feel to Porterhouse but without their own brews.

I was there yesterday, turns out their own beer is not available till the 15th but they have a great selection of bottled beer and some decent stuff on tap too, such as both Galway Hookers. I did not notice any other Irish craft brew though which is a pity.

One point to note though, the food is absolutely fantastic. I ran in to hendrixcat there too.

I will have to get the bus down to Galway in a few weeks to try their own beer, I was limited to one Galway Hooker dark as I had to drive home a few hours later.

I must make a visit too as I'll hopefully be down over the next few weeks.

I'm aiming to be there Thursday, can't wait, been a while coming. Besides they're going to be giving the stuff away.
