I don't know if am one else has seen it but the Booze to go on Ushers Quay has a new pub attached to it and the are selling a micro brewed ale commissioned for them at 4 euro a pint. They appear to beer discounting all the beer at around 3.50 a pint

If anyone is around town they might be able to check it out

I don't think i'll be popping in any time soon.
I pass by quite regularly, and between the state of the clientele and the numerous attempts to through A-boards through the window, it's probably best avoided.

I was advised by some Polish & Czech lads to steer clear anyway.

Sorrry to put a downer on that.

Bit weary here as I never got the prior warning from brewing silenus. I have been and the beer is called Pifko as is the pub. It's a nice very malty rich dark beer using Saaz hops and apparently it's brewed by a friend of the manager who works for Heineken and likes to home brew! They also sell pitchers of the stuff for 10 euro I think and have a couple of other dark ales on tap.

I didnt see any trouble there although the cleintelle were not the most desireable and it was during Michael Jackson's memorial so maybe everyone was just in mourning at the time, dunno but a nice beer for a change.

So, is it physically attached to the offy, around the corner from the river? I've been looking for this place from across on the North quays and can't see it.
