Got Brooklyn Lager in Tesco Wilton yesterday for 10.99 for six pack. Sam Adams there for a good while. Was also in Dunnes on another mission (don't go there much) but their beer selection is much better than Tesco. Leffe Londe 5.99 for 4 pack at the mo.

sam adams is my favourite lager thats available from tesco / dunnes. is brooklyn as good

I prefer Brooklyn but it's a matter of opinion.

Sam is a wonderfully malty brew balanced well with hops and very satisfying. Brooklyn has a slightly richer malt note to my mind, but the wonderful hop flavour sets it apart from Sam. Overall it's probably a step up from Sam Adams in the flavour stakes.

I agree the citrus flavor of the hops sets broklyn apart. sam is nice but lately has started tasting like tea.

got a 6 pack of brooklyn yesterday had one last night...must say it is lovely. have sam adams and brooklyn at home now so I will do my own pepsi challenge.

I have had a lot of the Sam Adams range in the US. if only some offie could get in their mixed cases it would be perfect present. very tasty.
