I grabbed a 6 pack of Brooklyn Lager in Tesco Clarehall yesterday at under 2 quid a bottle. More of this sort of thing.

Tesco seem to be slowly cottoning on to this beer thing. Good on 'em.

Good price, must check that out.

I picked up a 6-pack of the lager from the Crumlin Tesco a couple of weekends ago. They were stocking the shelves right from the pallets and I picked a 6-pack right off of the case. There was no price tag and it didn't ring up properly at the till, but the manager looked at it and said it's an American beer so 9.99 euro. The bottles are 12oz/330mL, but at that price I think that it's still a good buy. A nice tasty beer.

Haven't seen this in Tesco yet but had my first bottle of Brooklyn Lager last week and was most imprsessed with it. A lovely malty lager. Most impressed - will have it again and looking at the bottle and website will try to go to the brewery on Saturday mornigns if and when I get to New York!

the tesco in paul street cork is also stocking sam adams lager for 8.99 on special hidden down the bottom shelves so as not to distract from its big brothers.
