agree fully on the Octoberfest ( had one in bierhaus one night ...far too sweety for me) and winter lager ( had to drink vast amounts of it last winter in Boston -- either that or something light). I prefer those beers in a small to medium glass eg 12 oz but keep falling for the trap of the "half a european cup" sized vessel 25 or 30 oz
