It works out at €2.90 per half litre, which is only a smidge dearer than the normal Carlow range.

Plus, as Rebel says above, the Abbot's are asking €6.50 for it so I've no qualms at all about paying €4.35.

Does anyone know if its carlow or superqinn that have upped the price?

I presume it Superquinn, but at €4.35 for a mid rang beer that not importer that a hell of a lot to ask

They're 750mL bottles, so as TBN says it works out at €2.90 for 500mL, which isn't so bad.
