That's a pretty good time considering the number of users we have.[/quote:3m47xen1]

I think I recall a similar post from you the last time London was talked about.

I read a very dodgy review about the clientele of the Wenlock Arms quite recently. Made me think twice about venturing out to it. Food is supposed to be good though.

The Wenlock was suggested to me when I went over last April. If you looked in the door you certainly wouldn't stop. It's pretty dingy and some of the regulars looked a bit worse for wear. But if you do go in you will be rewarded, the beer was good when I was there, about 6 different cask beers, the salted beef sandwiches were immense and we got talking to a couple of the regulars who were extremely friendly. Highly recommended, although I don't know what your wife will make of it.

I opted out last summer when I was in London, partly because my girlfriend was with me, and she was all beered out. I'll have to get some masculine company to go with next time round.

They currently have Friday noon to six and Saturday nine to four as their hours, but I've a feeling I've read other ones elsewhere. Still, if it's closed it's not like there aren't plenty of other beery delights in the neighbourhood, as Seamus says.
