How about Via Maris- it seems to be on pretty continuously.

It's nice as an inbetween beer but for me needs a bit more malt backbone to be a go-to session pint.
heard it sold out in the beerhouse in record time, its like they have another amber ella on their hands. I agree with some that they are the best irish brewery we have.
I would definitely agree that with these special releases 8 degrees are showing what they can do. Would love if Polar Vortex were year round, would easily be my go-to IPA.

How come [b:vvtn0j4o]Polar Vortex[/b:vvtn0j4o] doesn't get it's own thread though...
What a fucking beer!
Eight Degrees can do no wrong.
How on earth did Galway Bay beat them to the best Irish brewery title on ratebeer?
8 Degrees are on another planet to the overrated as hell Galway Bay.
How about an 8 Degrees pub in 2015, Scoby?
Keep up the good work.[/quote:vvtn0j4o]
probably because the 8 degrees core range which most people cn get hold of is fairly pedestrian and its the one offs that were excellent (until amber ella and hurricane became permanents that is ) plus raters will probably do dublin pubs and they're likey to get many more galway bay beers than eight degrees[/quote:vvtn0j4o]
It's definitely a location thing, as have great access to 8 degrees beers in Cork, on draft and in bottle, and I don't mean the core range, but the good and hoppy ones, but seldom if ever see anything from Galway bay, apart from the odd bottle.
