TOPIC:

I just added Brewtonic to the A-Z: it's the house beer brand of Bodytonic, which owns The Twisted Pepper, The Bernard Shaw and MVP (the new one at Harold's Cross Bridge). They did their first beer, Your Auld One, at 5 Lamps late last year. They've a new summer ale called Relax The Cacks, brewed at Rascal's.

Their press release/statement on the opening of their new pub MVP struck me as really weird, it's like they don't really know why they're doing it!
They won't be doing music much (which is their USP)
They won't be doing craft music (as 57 does it better)

Just seems odd to me to buy a place and only after it's been open a while figure out what you're going to do with it.

Best of luck to them and they've made great successes out of their other ventures so they probably will with this one too.

Had a pint of Relax the Cacks last night. Definitely one for the fans of tropical fruit flavours in beer. I really enjoyed it.
