Totally agree, and back in the day when you had to serve an apprenticeship to become a barman, that was the norm. But as the position has effectively been de-skilled in order to pay lower wages, the knowledge that the skill brought to the profession has also been lost. It's up to the dedicated few (including us) to re-skill them.

We do a lot of this kind of work with our stockists, both in bringing staff to the brewery to show them the processes and inhouse at the bars / restaurants etc. Feel free to tell him to get in touch with us, either directly or through our distributors, if there's anything we can do for him - assuming he's stocking our beers of course!
