Must say had my first Westmalle Triple the other night. Would have to say I prefer Karmeliet. Nothing against Westmalle but Karmaliet is superb I think. Very keen om th Westmalle Dulbe as well.

Dubbel would have the edge over Tripel for me, as far as Westmalle beers are concerned.

I hadn't realised until the weekend that there's a Leffe Tripel. Anyone tried that?

Yes, tried it some time ago. Better then blonde, and brune but not as nice as Radieuse(sp?). Tastes a bit boozey for my liking (I know Tripels are meant to but this didn't have too much else going on). A decent tripel but not a patch on the other two mentioned in this thread.

The Leffe 9° is rather good, better than the Radieuse, but really really boozy.

Aww come on, Westmalle and Karmeliet [i:2axrgf5d]are[/i:2axrgf5d] fantastic.
Anyway, don't think I've tried Leffe 9. What sort of a beer is it?
