I thought it was interesting, if disappointing, that Guinness came out top. I was thinking last night that perhaps this illustrates that for non-beer-geeks, Guinness has an accessibility, or at least is a familiar experience to most pub goers. I was wondering if this is what came through the tasting
What would be interesting is to know the drinking preference of those tasters before they took the taste. Were many of them confessed, regular Guinness drinkers? If so, how many of them had their own preconceptions challenged or confirmed based on their blind tasting? It's something I've recorded in some of the blind tasting I've run so I could throw it in the face of the tasters afterwards. It's great fun! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

Great to have such a large number of tasters! Well done Colin!
