After several requests for a glossary over an extended period, we are pleased to release the ICB A-Z of Beer and Brewing[/url:3dj3vzi4].

As it say in the article, this is intended to be a community effort, and this is the place to suggest additions. Based on feedback here, we will grow and tune the glossary, so feel free!

As a project, we set this up as a Google document which allowed several people to edit at once. Dr. Jacoby volunteered and provided the bulk of the entries while Hendrixcat weighed in with definitions for more technical brewing terms. Many thanks guys!

It's a very necessary addition to the site. I enjoyed adding the technical terms and hope that they are clear enough.

In truth there are a quite a number of terms that are not really required for a basic glossary but I couldn't resist adding them. Whether or not they will be useful to you depends what stage you are at in the brewing game.
