See the site tools onthe top right of the front page? Click that and highlight number 3. That's max width on the front page. The phpBB template doesn't give us the freedom to add this control without alot of effort, so I set it to auto-size.

The front page defaults to setting 2 I think, which I prefer as it doesn't blow out the proportions too much on screen resolutions like 1920x1600 like on the laptop I'm currently typing on.

John, I optimise by ignoring everything till I have to respond <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Ahhh. Brilliant. Thank you.

Dunno what you mean about the proportions. If a page is awkwardly wide on a high-res screen I tend to resize my browser until it looks sane.

I do think that the different size-settings is a major giveaway on the two-sites-posing-as-one front. Well, that and the mysterious diappearing f***con...

I'll shut up now.
