TOPIC:

I've got some Belgian Saison (Dupont) & Orval Brettanomyces yeast blend and Rochefort Yeast that I'm happy to give away to anyone who wants it at the Wednesday meet. The Rochefort strain is appropriate for a Dubbel or Belgian Dark Strong/ "Quad".

I've got up to 4 vials of each strain I can give away.


I also have a proper vial of White Labs WLP500 which is a great strain to use for a tripel. -If you buy me a pint on Wednesday it's yours.


I'll probably have some hops to give away on Wednesday that I'll bring with me, too.

P.S. When I say "olde" saison I don't mean the yeast has been lying around a long time; I just mean that it's a blend of Saison and Orval Brettanomyces and there's a theory that this was the blend of organisms that probably fermented saisons back in the day.
