I could not post properly earlier on this. I was posting from my phone. We have launched a new UK site as most of ye know. There will be cheaper prices on there on some stuff. It is our only way of grabbing market share. We are taking little or no margin on some items. It’s a business plan and not a rip off thing. If we can make this work and get our volumes up, we can negotiate better deals on stock meaning ultimately cheaper prices over here. I really don’t want to get into the logistics of it too much on here but if anyone would like to chat about it, I’m in the shop most Saturdays.
We have already dropped pricing on hops and the whole Munton’s range here. There is nothing else to it.
