12volt 5A Power supplys - Want one? For Free? 14 years 4 months ago #1

They're upgrading a load of portable computers where I am currently working, there is a load of old Power supplies that are for chucking.

The Spec on them is as follows..
Input: 110-240VAC 47-63Hz 2.0A, IEC320 connector(PC Power Cable)
Output:12VDC 5A 60W Max, 1m tail
Dimensions: W100mm x H70mm x D180mm (roughly)
Weight: About 700g
Case: Plastic

These are useful for the following...
Reasonably high (5A) output
You can chop off the 3pin from your IEC/kettle lead and so Power and control 12v devices (Circulating Fans etc) in your Fermenting Chamber/Fridge (or other 12 devices)

I finish here next week, these are no longer in use, so if your interested I can grab one for you and either post/carrier pigeon it to you, you just cover the shipping.

Post your name here by Thursday 22nd latest if interested.

List so far, add/edit as you see fit.
Waiting for a green light.
Also, I'm curious to know the application, pics of finished project would be cool once complete (if possible/suitable!)
