The pressure in a mixed gas bottle is MUCH higher than in a CO2 bottle. ( about 4 time I believe )
So the CO2 regulators may NOT be able to cope with the presure and something will blow!
With a bit of luck it will be the CO2 reg's safety valve
If you want to use a mixed gas bottle get a mixed gas regulator
It cheaper than the hospital bills

So if I understand what your saying is if you fill a mixed gas bottle with just c02 and use a mixed gas regulator, you would be ok. <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->

How much did you pay for that one?
When you say you had to "collect" it in D&D, I assume thats cos you were buying it from them???
Or is it just where you collected it and bought it from someone else?

My understanding is that fire extinguishers do not contain food grade CO2, in many cases when collecting CO2, when the purity level drops off, rather than dump the gas it's collected for fire extinguishers and life raft inflation devices etc
