maf Topic Author Offline Posts: 838	I have a sachet of Safbrew T-58 in the fridge with Best Before date of 10 2010. Even though thats a few months ago, I would still say it could be used. I am not going to get around to using in the next while, so if anyone wants it, it's free to a good home.

Lugh Longhand Offline Posts: 456	If nobody else wants it before then I plan on doing that first extract brew you prodded me towards in about 3-4 weeks time. Was going to do a brown ale but if I am experimenting I could go the whole hog and try a belgian brown ale.

You're welcome, glad to see them getting used. Remember both sachets are out of date (they have been kept in the fridge though). It would be best to have another sachet as a back up in case they don't take off.
I did a weiss as my first extract brew – really simple to do and the added advantage of being cloudy, so no worries about the finished product being hazy! Link here[/url:2qpgfszl]
