I've never seen the soda stream ones or the ones used by homebrewers nowadays, but what i got this morning looks very similar to those on sale at homebrew companies.
If this is the case, there will be no excuse for not having Real Beer on draught for visitors to your home.

I wonder if this system is compatible with the homebrew mini kegs. I see no reason why it wouldn't be.

i was wondering how they'd power it. will pop to my local lidl this evening and see if they have any left, and grab a couple of kegs too. Might be a cool way of doing the tastings, dunno if we'd be let bring them into the pub? What think ye?

It's a plug in jobby with aluminium plates for cooling.

5 Litres per person times how many attendees. That , would be a funny/scary experience. Besides, how do i get money out of your pockets in that scenario ????

Oh shit no, i wasn't suggesting each brewer brings a mini-keg per attendee, rather each brewer brings 1 minikeg rather than 6 or 8 bottles (so 5 litres rather than 3 or 4 typically). I suppose as corkage you could retain any unfinished kegs to 'dispose' of accordingly
Extracting money from pockets would continue as it already stands.
