It's a plug in jobby with aluminium plates for cooling.[/quote:1d51qed9]No i meant how do they get the beer out of the keg, since it's a top-tap keg. the co2 drives it out.

[quote:1d51qed9]5 Litres per person times how many attendees. That , would be a funny/scary experience. Besides, how do i get money out of your pockets in that scenario ????[/quote:1d51qed9]
Oh shit no, i wasn't suggesting each brewer brings a mini-keg per attendee, rather each brewer brings 1 minikeg rather than 6 or 8 bottles (so 5 litres rather than 3 or 4 typically). I suppose as corkage you could retain any unfinished kegs to 'dispose' of accordingly
Extracting money from pockets would continue as it already stands.[/quote:1d51qed9]

Based on the last tasting 5 litres per person wouldn't be far off the mark.

picked up one in ballinteer this evening, with 2 kegs of weiss beer. it's morphy richards, so not too shabby. had a warsteiner keg left over from a previous party so have that in there now, not cold enough, it's frothy coming out, but that'll solve soon!

It tookm me 1 hour of trying to get beer out only to find it's broken

how? what's wrong with it? given that it's morphy richards rather than noBrand I would have thought they'd be well quality tested. Bummer. Bring it back and swap it sure... they had loads left in ballinteer last nite, I guess the fact that they're selling beer which isn't on the TV beside the tap is turning most people off buying them...

The little plastic bit connecting the actual tap to the keg kept falling off. I went donw this morning to change it(no problems there) and checked other units for the same problem.
I found 3 others with the same problem.
Anyway, in about 15 hours i'll let you know if it's working or not, although by then i should be safely under the affluence of incohol.....

oh that bit just pops off. i accidentally popped mine off last night, just clicks back into position. I presume you mean the little bit directly above the spout which the lever pushes down on?
