I've put up a slightly update version (same link). The new version stops requesting location updates when the process goes into the background and restarts them when it comes into focus again. This should stop the issue that Shane and Will are having.

The GPS-kill issue is working fine for me now.

However, the map is dislaying places that aren't published on the Directory eg Tobergal Lane in Sligo and Sin É in Dublin.

They may not be in the directory, but they are in the database...

I'll have another shuftie and see if I can work out what the magic words are to stop them being uploaded.

You can switch off "approved" and "published", if that makes any difference. I'd really prefer not to have to permanently delete places that have to be de-listed.

I was noticing that as well; O'Byrnes Beverage House is shown for instance. Great job though!
