That's cool. I love a fillet steak with a bottle of Bordeaux. I usually get the dry aged fillets in Superquinn but they're Eur18 for 2 x 200g steaks.

I'd be interested in reading about your perfect cooking method as I reckon I've already got that cracked <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Nice one Eoin. How much did the slab of beef cost and how many steaks did you get off it, if you don't mind telling? The missus has gone gluten free and now i'm in charge of getting the food ready. I have rediscovered my love of rare steaks, so will be looking at going to somewhere like this.

That whole tenderloin cost 51 euros, it's actually in the very first pic, cos I'd never have remembered. It's a nice cut to get, the other one I get from them a lot for summer barbecues is the ribroast and I make my own ribeye steaks too.
