For Beers, I think the Abbots is better, despite the small footprint.
As for being jerks, you may have caught them on an off-moment, that being said, these guys upped FW Jameson Stout to EUR15 and held on to a stash of older FW bottles.
Don't be surprised if you see a few Jameson Stouts here next Christmas...

I spent some time with Grainne and Tim on Friday night and I think the Brau will be a permanent fixture on the Metalman menu. It seems to have gone down well.
They also told me they will have a new beer for the Easterfest but steadfastly refused to give me a hint as to what it will be. Just to say that it is already brewed.
I loved the Jameson stout that I had on Saturday, it seemed so different from the sample I had on Friday that they could have been different beers.
In general I liked all the beers but my preference is always for the dark side

You must have followed after us as we went in there tyre kicking and they weren't too happy, even though we were upstairs afterwards for a pint, amazing selection, and their cask Metalman was better than the FW
