Trouble Ór was the beer of the day for me, and I really enjoyed Metalman's Chameleon Bräu. Paradoxically both would make great summer beers, if they last that long.

I travelled down late friday evening and made it in for a couple of pints before closing. Woke up saturday morning feeling awful, was struck down with a virus - 3 out of my party of 6 spent the day in bed so I missed the majority of the festival unfortunately.

The two pints I did manage to have where the Metalman Pale Ale and the Lager. Both were superb. Really likes the layout of the bar this year also, far less chaotic than last year.

You mean you forgot to get your jabs before entering the Rebel County???

For what it's worth, that virus did the rounds in our house over Christmas- I managed to shake it off the day before I returned to work so I didn't get any sick leave out of it...

I must start following them on twitter so!

It was a good couple of days in cork! First visit to the fran well, didn't get a chance to chat to everyone due to my wandering in and out of the fran well!

I enjoyed the Jameson and Purgatory, couldn't believe the Jameson was so high in alcohol!

On my other travels, the Mi Dazza (not sure about the spelling) was excellent, and the Angel stout just didn't do it for me!

Looking forward to my next trip to Cork!
