They often do have an all day BBQ at Easterfest, though by all day they mean it will start about 4:30 or later.

It was a good day but yes, it was quieter than previous years. That said, I usually stay the night so I'm there later and it gets very busy after 8 but this time I was heading for the train at that time.

Easterfest is the bigger one though. The breweries themselves are there and it attracts a lot more people.

Enjoyed my day out yesterday. Some good beer, some not so good. Metalman PA was my favourite followed by Leann Folláin and Dark Arts. The pizza was excellent, if a little pricey at €14.

Has Purgatory changed? It may be me but it wasn't as tasty as I remember.

I thought it was a great day overall. It's definitely better when the weather's not cold and wet! I had a few stouts; Dark Arts, Cúl Dorcha and the really excellent Jameson whiskey aged stout. Missed out on the Chameleon Garnet but enjoyed White Gypsy Amber and Comeragh Challenger. Nice vibe and not too packed and great pizza helped.

Was there for a couple of hours on Saturday and particularly enjoyed the Rebel Red, Metalman pale ale and Jameson stout.

Got a half pint of Beoir Cul Dorca and could only manage a couple of sips. It had a sharp, sour taste that just seemed wrong to me.
