Did I see you Saturday Keith ?

I was gutted to miss the Chocolate and Oatmeal stout - I've gone looking for a recipe to try and recreate it.

The Purgatory was fantastic on cask, and the Emerald surprised me. MM Brown Ale completely took me by surprise - I usually can't stand brown ales, but it was a different drink altogether on cask. Amazing stuff.

I had a few pints of the Jule-Ol, as it was one of the ones that was left at the end of the evening, and while it wasn't great on the way down, it had a superb finish.

Did anyone try O'Connaill's hot chocolate? The perfect precursor to any beer...

Sounds like some fantastic beers there. My whole week-end was wiped out by a diarrhoea / vomiting bug - no right time for these things!!!
