Had a great night on Friday.
Sold out pretty quickly though. I had left the Coffee and Oatmeal Stout till last, and it was all sold out!! Anyone try it? Was really looking forward to it.

The overall winner for me was the Raven Black Stout - an absolute beauty. Almost all the other beers on cask were top notch as well.

Um, so far as I know they had casks that were untapped reserved for today and tomorrow, so I wouldn't be too worried.

The Kegs were not up and running last night either, but will be today, so they'll all be there.

I think there were one or two cask beers that ran out completely though! So far as I know, the coffee oatmeal stout is now extinct. Perhaps they'll organise something...

Was in there this afternoon, with the family, and my mum and dad who happened to be down from dublin visiting.

Quite a few of the casks had run dry. In fact they were saying that the whole thing had proved more popular than expected and weren't really sure if they'd have anything by tonight.

To be honest though, isn't that ideal for casks?

Even the parents enjoyed it and I hope they do it again soon.
