Some crackin ales there, many are worthy of a mention. As well as the ones mentioned by others, I thought the Messrs Brown Ale was really nice, and The Phuca was tasty (had a lot more cloves than my own spiced ale though!!)

+1 on the Raven and the Purgatory and MM Brown Ale, but I have to say there wasn't a bad beer there. Although I expected more from the Jul Ol having heard so much about it.
I popped in yesterday before I left Cork (just to refresh my memory mind) and they had found a few homebrews hidden beside the outside bar. The owner can drop in to collect them if they hurry. I suspect the lad behind the bar is mad to open one.

Haha, I reckoned I knew who they belonged to! It was a very enjoyable day; well done to all concerned. I enjoyed every beer that I had. Maybe it was just as well they had run out of Coffee and oatmeal stout and also Barrelhead!
