Hey,


Someone told me this was on last weekend. Have I missed this? What? I can't seem to find any information online the last one mentioned on fran well website is Oktoberfest 07.



Anyone know when it is on, if it is on and have i missed it?

Paulaner had an Oktoberfest beag last week in City limits .

Franciscan will have an Oktoberfest on the Bank holiday weekend I think . It's mentioned here somewhere ,

yeah, definitely the bank holiday weekend. I'll probably go on the saturday. They have updates on their facebook page, where they announce the beers that will be there. So far they have mentioned Cask conditioned Sharps Doom Bar, Old speckled hen on draft, Fruli and Blue moon. Pardon me if I don't get too excited.

Got a flier re same on Saturday. Also Chimay Blue and some other Belgian beers on draught which I cannot remember at present - I think it will be the usual type of thing. Worth a visit if you're in Cork that weekend.

You need to be a special kind of Real Ale purist to care, though, and I'm not sure anyone's ever been able to tell the difference blind.
