Great meet as usual (apart from the notable absence of IPA on tap... grunmble... mutter <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="

There were some interesting beers there last night! I still havent figured out what to make of Diablo's stout, so I'll just have to conclude that challenging beers are cool! <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="

I thought all the IPAs there were different but good - Haile's had a bitingly fresh orange-peel aftertaste, with TBNs being a more balanced beer with some lovely caramel notes mixing beautifly with the hops, and Brian_c's was nice and fresh. I suppose it just goes to show how one style of beer can offer so many different flavour notes!
The highlignt for me was the Weiss from Grainne & Bighair. Really good!
Finally, thanks to Andrew, I got a homework assignment (in the form of a beer machine kit)! Hopefully It'll be ready for the next meet!
