Good meet last night.

Really enjoyed Grainne's Weizen, and the pale ales from TBN and Brian.

Good meetup and one of the biggest I think I have been to thanks to the Horde Biertourist arrived with

Even without them we were packed.

Great to get the feedback on my beer which was surprisingly positive from some people.
I think I will drink it. I will be interested to see how the keg turns out and those were only sample bottles conditioning for a week and a half.

If the keg turns out different I will bring it along next time along with the double IPA.

Great meet as usual (apart from the notable absence of IPA on tap... grunmble... mutter )
There were some interesting beers there last night! I still havent figured out what to make of Diablo's stout, so I'll just have to conclude that challenging beers are cool!

I thought all the IPAs there were different but good - Haile's had a bitingly fresh orange-peel aftertaste, with TBNs being a more balanced beer with some lovely caramel notes mixing beautifly with the hops, and Brian_c's was nice and fresh. I suppose it just goes to show how one style of beer can offer so many different flavour notes!

The highlignt for me was the Weiss from Grainne & Bighair. Really good!

Finally, thanks to Andrew, I got a homework assignment (in the form of a beer machine kit)! Hopefully It'll be ready for the next meet!

Or not, depending how it turns out

You said it was almost too perfectly balanced. I can live with "too perfect" as a criticism

TBN reckoned it has Bovrily and AFIM thought it was Icecreamy if that helps. I do think it has a creaminess to it alright.

I really liked Nimbus's Wit. It had lovely flavour and body. It was a style that I had kind of dismissed as I don't like Hoegarrden but I will copy that recipe.

Very enjoyable evening and nice to meet you all finally. I'm sure I'll be a regular attendee at future meetups.

I thought Halite's pale ale was fantastic, and was very impressed with the porters from grainne & bighair, and the elderly one n1mbus brought.

Great meeting Diablo too.
