Is anyone still at work? I'm sickened....

Well Guys, just arrived home (and like a good brewer I've already washed the bottles I brought back). I'd like to thank all of you who came and made a great night of it. There were a few no-shows, but there were an equal number of people who turned up on-spec, all in all 28 people for what I thought was a really great night. Special thanks to all the people who brought their craft brews. I think the standard was top notch, and even within the styles we chose for the night we were able to show that the scope and creativity that is possible is just amazing. Well chuffed <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Geoff and Declan seemed to have a great night too, which is really important for us as they took a risk in hosting a night like this (and many thanks again guys!), and by all accounts, they are willing to do it again. Stay tuned for something after I talk to them when they're sober <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

I think the biggest success of the night was the fact that we got a disperate group of people from all over, who shared a common interest, and we had a great time. You're a great bunch of people, and I for one am proud to be a part of a group like this, and long may it continue.

You can look forward to a couple of articles abot the night. I won't tell you who was [i:1j4wgrli]volunteered[/i:1j4wgrli] for the job (I deferred it! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->) as I don't know yet if they can remember it all <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

First things first, i think a thank you is due! I really had a great night, the brews surpassed my expectations ten times over! Thank you, Adeptus, for bringing us all together, for what was a really special night!

The beers... what can i say! Being a non-brewer myself, i came home tonight and spent two and a half hours researching equipment to do my own. The first home brews i have ever tasted and i can honestly say i was really taken back by the quality tonight. I think kudo's is deserved to all the home brewers! Well done guys..... now please make some more! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Geoff and Declan. I'm sure this forum will be flooded with threads of your praise! and rightly so. Your dedication to beer (and your beer hall!) made it all possible. Thank you so much from me, and i'm sure everyone else!

I know it took more than one to make tonight what it was so i don't want to name names. thanks guys, agree with everything happyacid said, very impressed with the quality of the brews and it was great to put faces to the names. and we had the perfect place to try them, what a great pub. thanks again.
