Hope you all had fun, I had two bottles of my stout on the terrace in the RDS so that was my contribution. Hopefully a clash like this never happens again.

It was a great night. Started off slow due to people not being able to make it for 7 but picked up to a full house later.

Gordon's (AleMan) stout Leann Dubh went down very well and was a great opener to the evening. Everyone was very impressed.

Adam's (Biertourist) brought his last bottle of his Double IPA along with an interesting half pilsner half ale.

John (TBN) gets the award for the best label. His Flaming Arsehole Chilli stout had a picture of Ryan Tubridy on it. Great name and label and the Scotch Bonnet chillies were nice and strong making this a great beer to use if you run out of hot sauce. Very nice beer.

I liked Geoffs IPA, it was quite bitter and dry.

For those that did not make it, there was a polypin of Hilden's peat smoked beer which I enjoyed. Also we were treated to some Buckleys on the house in exchange for filling in a form of what we think.

We were there till closing and the lights came on

Agreed Luckily, this didn't do exactly what it said on the tin, but I reckon if you mixed it with enough of Biertourist's double IPA you could be in for trouble!

Aleman's stout was a highlight for me. Very well balanced and smooth, with a great label. If only the dogs could have made it on there somewhere!

I also really enjoyed Richie's steam beer. Very refreshing with a lovely hop bite down stream.

Thanks again to Geoff and crew for a great night (and the free beer!)
