Each to their own and all that but I just dont appreciate the bog or iodine flavoured whiskeys.

If you want a good value for money whiskey try green spot (massively underrated!)

yeah greenspot is pretty overpriced. They obviously don't underrate themselves. Nice whiskey though.

How much is a bottle of it in Dublin? (its about £35 in Belfast)

I'm with TBN on this one, not a fan of most scotch particularly the high phenol ones like the Islay malts[/url:1ct12r0o] ,I just find them overpoweringly smokey although I do like Bowmore 18 somewhat and some of the less smokey lowland styles.
Irish whiskey for me though is the way of it, sweeter malt character, Redbreast 15 being my favourite when it's available although it's mad money <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt="" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x --> .Do like Green Spot too though and it would be my goto one if its available.
Also think Tullamore Dew is a highly under-rated whiskey <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: --> <!-- s:!: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_exclaim.gif" alt="" title="Exclamation" /><!-- s:!: -->

Im not mad on the 'bog-standard' Tullamore (theres a weird soapy twang imho) but the 12 year old is lovely!
