Re the advert it just seems like the Gleneagle / INEC doing a promotion week-end with some well known Irish rock groups etc and just putting in a kind of a beer festival as well without mentioning anything about the beers!!! Some of the acts sound pretty o.k. (unlike most festivals I have even heard of some of them!!!!). I can't imagine the beer selection being very exciting at this stage.
Secondly in relation to Paulaner I quite like a pint or two of it now and again. It is heavier to drink that some other weisbiers, Erdinger is a lot lighter in my opinion. Even though it is owned partly by Heineken I would be happy to drink it. Would be happier drinking Friar Weisse if available!!!
