So: 4 pale ales, 2 wheat beers, 2 stouts, a red, a saison, a kriek. 4 kits, 7 extract or all-grain. Plus 2 country wines.

A fun evening lies ahead...

Do you think you will be able to spot the kits? I think there is about a three in a hundred chance you could spot 4 out of seven kits if you picked at random.

However, AFAIK, the kit competition is to be judged separately from the others, so I don't think we'll get the chance to play. Somebody who isn't there to work could give it a go though <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Tried their site but not much info on the fest. What time is it kicking off. ...i'd like to go but depends on time really...any idea

Judging starts at 6, so my guess would be around 7 or so.

The Ogham Brew lads told us they would be collecting our beer some time earlier on Saturday, so they can get it all to the venue and get the judges started before the masses descend. I think door open to the "public" at 7.30, but it could be 7. Worst that can happen is you arrive early and get a beer downstairs first. TBN and Bog Myrtle I expect you to be 3 sheets to the wind before the rest of us get a drop of our own beer!
