I look forward to it, really enjoyed the taster I had, although I prefer my stout at room temperature

I really enjoyed the pints of this I had last night. On cask there's much more of a chocolate character to it. And it's unspeakably pleasant to pick up a creamy pint of stout and not have your fingers instantly freeze to the glass. More of this kind of thing, please.

Rossa and Jagerboy were there at the opening yesterday, as were Liam and Kay from the brewery. I'm not sure whether it's them or the B&C management to whom I owe thanks for the first couple of pints, but thanks.

Photos to follow.

It's delicious from the cask, a lot more flavour than in the bottle for sure. More of this sort of thing for SURE!

On another note, the B&C is JAMMERS this lunchtime with all the paddywhackery lovers over for the weekend. Never seen it so busy - had to wait for a seat at the bar even!

Hopefully plenty of them will go home talking about the Irish beers they hadn't heard of before! Have to try the Leann Foillan while it's still there <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:-) -->
