Whilst there last week saw the poster - impressed by the fact that it mentions all Irish craft breweries - it would be great to see if they will all have beers representd. Unfortunately either way I won't be there!

Damn ,I really need to try and get to Dublin for this. After reading a few blogs I'm really tempted to get up there. What are the chances there'll still be some beer left by next weekend?

Also, Bog_Myrtle, do you have the full results, or was there just an overall winner?

Best Lager: Porterhouse Hersbrucker.
Best Ale: MM Bock.
Best Stout: Porterhouse Wrasslers XXXX.

I was enjoying this festival on Thursday [u:ku6zo7jl]and[/u:ku6zo7jl] last night and thought it was a great event to showcase Irish craft beer. I brought a few friends and we had great fun trying the festival selection. Sadly by the Saturday the casked beers were gone but they said they would restock today.
I particularly enjoyed the Clotsworthy Dobbin and the Purgurtary ale. And I can highly recommend the Porterhouse oysters. Fresh and meaty...delicious!

Went to it on Friday night with a load of work friend and got a load of lager drinker on to Hooker and Purgurtary ale. Nice to have the option of another cask ale and great if this became a permanent addition.

But the Purgurtary ale should be a permanent fixture for Franciscan Well, I would be a great missed opportunity if they dont
