Bierhaus holding it's second octoberfest the emphasis will be on irish beer not to clash with Franscian Well beer festival.


so far confirmed are Whitewater, belfast ale , clothworthy dobbins and belfast lager in bottle.

Carlow brewing company O'hara stout and red,Curim wheat beer.

White Gypsy brewery hopefully Imperial stout.

I speak for all Munster members that Dave O'Leary has been a great support allowing us have meet ups and sampling our own beer anytime we asked, so if any body is going to Franscian Well they might also pop along to Dave for a pint or two and give him our support.

We a risk of being barred from the Franscian Well if the White Gypsy imperial stout makes it I will be going no where else.

i would concur fully with Rebel - unfortunately I will be away on hols at that time. I think imperial stout from White Gypsy/MM is the best beer I have ever had in my life. Well so far anyway!!

Well done Dave again and hopefully the Oktoberfest will be well suported.

By the way Erdinger Oktoberfest on draught in Bierhaus for the last two weeks or so.

when is the festival on? I may be in Cork next week

I may be down for part of the weekend, I'll most likely pop in if that is the case. I enjoyed last year's events in both The Well and The Bierhaus.

I think last year MM's draught offerings at The Bierhaus fest were Plain and Bock. I'm not sure if the same will apply this year. I hope the Julöl makes an appearance again this year at some stage - does Cuilan read the forum? Bank Holiday weekend. I hope you've got your digs sorted, it's the same weekend as the Jazz Festival.

i'll deffo be there, dave has a fine long running tradition of not kicking me out of the pub. should be a great weekend
