[quote:1g3xwt7u]Also I'm not too keen on appearing on the TV, so will need to get myself a good disguise. I should be able to send along one or 2 of my coffee stouts though![/quote:1g3xwt7u]I imagine the focus will be primarily on the two boys. It would be good if ICB and Irish homebrewing in general gets some exposure though and it looks like we'll need numbers to make that happen. I'm sure we could find you a cunning disguise?

...we all have a face for radio, but this is about what influences changes in the beer sector, and the benefit to the drinking public.

In my opinion the most important aspect about home brewing and microbreweries, is that they are not faceless. The person in front of you in the supermarket, or beside you at the bustop, is the face of modern beer, these are the ordinary people producing for a public with demands for better beer
.
I haven't seen a Diageo rep for almost 6 months now, and i would love to see his face if a bunch of us were to appear on TV and talk about beer without a mention of macrobreweries.

And I imagine the Irish-based episode featuring homebrewing is also going to be by way of pointing out the dearth of craft brewing in Ireland, compared to the UK. I think our presence in this show is just so important.

And yes Geoff, not faceless, that's exactly what I was trying to say and failed <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Hopefully myself and a Friend in Mead can make it. I have an IPA and a very young Weiss beer that I could bring...

I'd go but my Coopers stout is a bit ropey and isn't exactly a homebrew as its made from a kit.

Did you make it at home?

It's a homebrew.

Even kits allow for enough variables that you will rarely make the exact same taste twice.

And you might think it's ropey, but could be right up someone else's alley.

I might have to drop off a couple of bottles to the bull and castle (if I can get past customs) on the way home this christmas, let some of the regulars (on there and on the boards) sample and critique my beers
